A Site Called Pagebound.co
This site is basically if Goodreads meet Reddit. I like neither, but Pagebound itself has become my obsession for past 20 hours.
I first discovered it at random post in Threads. The UI is cute, so why not give it a try?
Similar to Reddit it has points and badges. You can get points by interacting with the features, like creating a new post, replying a discussion, adding new TBR, creating shelves, gaining a badge, etc.
For gaining a badge, you need to join a Quest. Currently the quests are only a few, there's not much a choices. I managed to got Rick Riordan badge after the system scan through my finished books. Oh, yeah, you can import your Goodreads and Storygraph data here.
Another feature is the List where you can become a tastemaker. This feature make you able to share your books in "playlist" (like Spotify) for public to see.
You are unable to upload your own image as profile picture, yet. But, you still can select a cute pre-made avatar.
I think that's it :) I'm sharing this new platform because it made by 2 women for women. Although not restricted for everybody.
